The House Of Tara reserves the right to recover the cost of goods, collection charges and lawyers' fees from persons using the site fraudulently. CREDIT CARD / DEBIT CARD / INTERNET BANKING DETAILS

You agree, understand and confirm that the credit/debit/internet banking details provided by you for availing of services on The House Of Tara website will be correct and accurate and you shall not use the personal details which is not lawfully owned by you. You further agree and undertake to provide the correct details to The House Of Tara. Further the said information will not be utilized and shared by The House Of Tara with any of the third parties unless required for fraud verifications or by law, regulation or court order. The House Of Tara will not be liable for any credit/debit card/internet banking fraud. The liability for use of a card fraudulently will be on you and the onus to 'prove otherwise' shall be exclusively on you.

GENERAL

This User Agreement shall be construed and governed in all respects by the laws of state of Delhi, India as such laws are applied to agreements entered into and to be performed entirely within Delhi between Delhi residents and without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. This User Agreement sets forth the entire understanding and agreement between User and The House Of Tara with respect to the subject matter hereof and terminates, cancels and supersedes any and all oral or written agreements, understandings, statements, representations and warranties heretofore made relating to the subject matter hereof.

 

DELIVERY

We deliver free of charge to any address in India via courier/speed post. An order from our collection will take approximately 7 to 10 working days to reach you. Products will need to be signed for upon delivery and acknowledgement shall be the conclusive evidence that the products are delivered. We take no responsibility for acknowledgement signed by an alternative person other than the person ordering the product at the address indicated at the time of the order. Since the transactions are authorised by the card/bank account holder, we do not take responsibility for incorrect addresses provided at the time of placing the order. We are not responsible for damage of products after delivery. If you believe that the product is not in good condition, or if the packaging is tampered with or damaged, before accepting delivery of the goods, please refuse to take delivery of the package, and send an email at support@thehouseoftara.co.in mentioning your order reference number. We shall make our best efforts to ensure that a replacement delivery is made to you at the earliest.


We regret that our online sales facility is not currently available to our customers outside of India. If you reside outside of India and are interested in purchasing one of our products, please e-mail us at support@thehouseoftara.co.in. 

 

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

If you are not satisfied with a product, received a damage, defective or if the purchased product is not as per listed on The House of Tara website, please contact customer care at support@thehouseoftara.co.in stating the exact reason for return within 14 days of receipt of the product. Please note the Return Period is 14 days of receipt of the product. The customer care department will approve your request by a return mail. For Return or replacement requested for damage or defect reason please supplement the request with desired images as proof of defect / damage. You will be required to return the product within 5 days of approval to the following address through a courier:

The House Of Tara shall reimburse a maximum of Rs 100 as courier charges for return. Please ensure that the product is returned with its original packing, box (if any), guarantee card (not filled out) and any other material that came along with the product. The returned product must be in unused condition as we cannot issue refunds for products that show signs of use. Please do take care that you pack items securely and safely to prevent any loss or damage during transit.

We recommend you use a reliable courier service. All returns are evaluated before being processed. Please note that it usually takes 7-14 working days to receive the package you return. Once we receive your return, please allow up to 15 business days to complete your return & reverse your payment to the same payment source.

Please note that The House Of Tara return and refund policy is applicable only in India. Unfortunately, at this time we do not accept returns, refunds and exchanges outside of India.

 

REPLACEMENT POLICY

If you want to replace the product that you have purchased on the The House Of Tara website with a product of same cost, please contact customer care at support@thehouseoftara.co.in stating the exact reason for replacement within 14 days of receipt of the product. The customer care department will approve your request by a return mail. You will be required to return the product within 5 days of approval to the following address through a courier at your own cost:

Please note that The House Of Tara replacement policy is applicable only in India. Unfortunately, at this time we do not accept exchanges outside of India.

 

CANCELLATION BY THE HOUSE OF TARA

Please note that there may be certain orders that we are unable to accept and must cancel. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason. Some situations that may result in your order being cancelled include limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies or errors in product or pricing information, or problems identified by our credit and fraud avoidance department. We may also require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. We will contact you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order. If your order is cancelled after your account has been charged, entire amount charged to you shall be refunded to the same payment source used by you to make the payment while ordering, within 15 to 20 working days.

 

CANCELLATIONS BY THE CUSTOMER

In case of customer requests for order cancellations, The House Of Tara reserves the right to accept or reject requests for order cancellations for any reason. As part of usual business practice, if we receive a cancellation notice and the order has not been processed / approved by us, we shall cancel the order and credit shall be given to you. We will not be able to cancel orders that have already been processed. The House Of Tara has the full right to decide whether an order has been processed or not. The customer agrees not to dispute the decision made by The House Of Tara and accept The House Of Tara's decision regarding the cancellation. If your order is cancelled after your account has been charged, entire amount charged to you shall be refunded to the same payment source used by you to make the payment while ordering, within 15 to 20 working days.
